Raynham Estate launches full summer of Wild Meadow glamping

Jun 01, 2021

A secluded Summer holiday the Wild Meadow way

Luxury glamping away from it all

Four stunning, hand-crafted yurts are the focal point of this secluded, countryside destination. Generously spaced within a five-acre meadow of wild-flowers, each yurt is effortlessly stylish, offering visitors an exclusive, relaxing break, off-grid and away from urban life.

Each yurt has its own designated fridge and all the cooking equipment needed, however ambitious the chef. Guests can pre-order Raynham Aberdeen Angus beef for the BBQ or a local food and wine hamper to enjoy. They can also explore North Norfolk’s plethora of food and farm shops in nearby villages and towns.

With luxury bedding, a barbecue and perhaps most importantly a designated toilet and shower facilities, your booking includes everything you need for a relaxing stay. (Full list of what’s included here.)

Wild-flower scenes and sunset views

Soak up the peace and quiet, picture perfect wild-flower meadow views, incredible sunsets and look out for an abundance of wildlife including deer, rare birds of prey, owls and butterflies.

Lord Tom Raynham is heir to the Raynham estate and Wild Meadow is one of many ways that he is opening up this incredible historic landscape for more people to enjoy.

“The main attraction is always going to be our setting; and the opportunity to relax and recharge with your family and friends in a beautiful, secluded and peaceful location,” says Tom Raynham. “When fitting out the yurts, we tried to anticipate what the most discerning guest would expect and to exceed that expectation. However, we have avoided the temptation to ‘over-design’ our yurts as we know our interiors will always be secondary to the views of the park, farmland and countryside, with Raynham Hall and the estate church in the distance.”

At full occupancy, the maximum number of guests is 18.

  • Wild Meadow has two yurts that sleep up to two adults and two children and two that sleep up to two adults and up to three children.
  • Open from June to September 2021, a holiday for four people starts at £140/night for a 7-night booking in the school holidays. A 3-night mid-season break for 2-4 is £375.
